Real Madrid Put Aside 56million Pound For Gareth Bale
According to the Spanish newspaper – Real Madrid have set aside 70million euro (£56million) to try and thrash out a deal for Bale, after making him their next bumper transfer target. Real Madrid have been linked with the Welsh wizard for some time now – and their recent partnership with Tottenham Hotspur has made this deal all the more likely.
Real Madrid's interest began when Bale was making his transistion from left back to left wing. His performances oozed real class for the London Club – a 4-3 defeat and a 3-1 victory over Inter Milan was the stepping stone for Bale's rise to prominence.
The Welshman scored a hatrick and laid on two assist's over both legs – after he gave one of the worlds top right backs a torrid time in the Champions league two seasons ago.
Bale is now recognized as one of the best wide men in world football, and Madrid are ready to go all out to land Gareth Bale in the next two transfer windows. With the funds set to made up from huge backing from the local Madrid banks as well as player sales – with Kaka rumoured to be up for sale.
It is rumoured that Madrid are willing to pay £20million upfront for the Welshman, and the further £36million the following summer, after the sale of key players. The Madrid squad are currently in turmoil – with key players and manager Jose Mourinho all unhappy at the club.
