Ramos offers Robinson hope

Spurs head coach Juande Ramos says he may stick with Radek Cerny for the weekend clash with Chelsea, after axing Paul Robinson for the Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Arsenal.

Ramos opted to leave England international goalkeeper Robinson on the bench for the 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium, with Cerny showing up well after being handed a shock start.

After the game, Ramos commented: "We haven't decided yet if he (Robinson) will play on Saturday.

"He is a good goalkeeper, which he has demonstrated with his career so far, we all know what a good goalkeeper he is.

"There are 24-25 players in the squad and they all have to play at some point and make the most of the minutes they have on the pitch.

"All of the players are important, all are considered and I choose who I think is best for each match. Only eleven can play."
