New Real Madrid boss Juande Ramos has admitted he may be interested in luring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora to Spain.
Ramos managed the Ivory Coast midfielder during his ill-fated 12-month spell at White Hart Lane, which was brought to an end after he was sacked in October.
The former Sevilla coach is now back in work after being handed the reins at the Spanish champions until the end of the season and Zokora is a player who has registered on his radar.
"From the very first day at Spurs I was interested in Zokora because he always understood the gameplan and I liked his discipline," Ramos is quoted as saying.
Zokora recently revealed his interest in moving to Spain, but for the time being the 27-year-old is happy to remain at White Hart Lane.
"I am in the biggest league in the world so it will be hard for me to find something better elsewhere," said Zokora.
"But I have never hidden my interest in playing in La Liga."
