Ramos calm over Berbatov

Tottenham coach Juande Ramos claims he is unconcerned by speculation linking Dimitar Berbatov with a move away from White Hart Lane.

Berbatov's agent Emil Dantchev has alerted the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea after claiming the Bulgaria international is keen to move to a club which 'matches his ambition'.

Reports have suggested Spurs will hold out for £35million for their 11-goal striker, but Ramos claims he is determined to keep him at the club.

The 26-year-old has scored 44 times in 75 games for Spurs after signing from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2006.

"It (the speculation) is normal because the transfer window has just opened, but we want this footballer to stay with us," Ramos told Sky Sports News.

"He is here now and unless somebody comes along with an offer that is too good to refuse, he will stay here and we are happy to have him.

"Agents do this. They try to sell players in order to make money out of it, but we are quite calm about this.

"The player has a contract and everything is normal."
