    Progress pleases Ramos

    16 Jan 2008 - 09:11:33

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Juande Ramos was delighted to see his side set up an FA Cup fourth round clash with Manchester United by beating Reading 1-0 at the Madejski Stadium.

An early Robbie Keane strike gave Spurs victory in the third round replay, with Ramos' only concern that his squad are starting to suffer due to their progress in both major domestic cup competitions.

The Spaniard said: "The most important thing was to get through the tie.

"We managed to come through the game without conceding a goal and we had to make quite an effort to overcome Reading.

"I was very happy with the performance. Conditions were difficult, the pitch was heavy and we also had very little time to recover after the Chelsea game.

"We are making a great effort to win these games and the results are injuries, exhaustion and suspensions. It's very difficult to keep momentum and this is my biggest concern.

"We're going to try, the next game is very difficult for us and we know just how tough it will be, but we'll do everything possible to beat Manchester United."
