Palacios plays down exit talk

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Wilson Palacios has again dismissed rumours linking him with a summer move away from White Hart Lane.

The 25-year-old Honduras international has been mentioned as a possible target for Real Madrid, but the former Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic star insists that he is not going anywhere.

Palacios told The Sun: "The truth is I'm very, very happy here. My team-mates have really helped me to settle in.

"We have worked very hard to get to fourth position. I think if we keep on working hard we can achieve what we want.

"We are in a great position and we are all very concentrated on keeping that fourth spot."

Palacios joined Spurs in January 2009 and is one appearance short of the 50 mark for Harry Redknapp's side.
