O'Hara set for surgery
Jamie O'Hara is set to undergo a knee operation on Saturday and will miss the remainder of the season. It has been decided that surgery is the best course of action for the Tottenham midfielder, who has been struggling with the problem for some time. The England U21 international will now be hoping to regain full fitness in time for the start of pre-season, as he looks to build on a productive 2008/09 campaign. O'Hara made 28 appearances for Spurs this season, scoring four times, and was part of the squad which endured Carling Cup final heartache against Manchester United. He has, however, fallen out of favour of late and has not featured since coming on as a late substitute in Tottenham's 1-0 win over Chelsea on 21st March. The 22-year-old is now guaranteed to miss Spurs' final three games as well, meaning he will sit out the clashes with Everton, Manchester City and Liverpool. He will also be sweating on his potential involvement in the U21 European Championships this summer, having become a regular in Stuart Pearce's plans this term.
