McLeish ends Boateng chase

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has given up hope of persuading Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng to move to St Andrew's on loan.
The 21-year-old Germany Under-21 international is out of favour at White Hart Lane, but appears unwilling to drop down a division to try and get his career back on track.
McLeish told the Birmingham Post: "He has disappeared from the radar. I understand he is still in Germany.
"We have not heard anything from Spurs, the player or his agent and we have got to move on. We can't wait forever."
McLeish had previously voiced his concerns over the lack of progress in his attempts to sign Boateng.
He had stated: "If he is undecided, then we will just leave it because he has to tell me he wants to come.
"He is a great young talent and I think there is a deal to be done, but I don't want players to feel they are forced to come and think 'alright I will go and see what it is like for two weeks'.
"I want players to come and say 'yes, I want to rebuild my career here'."
