Internazionale striker Obafemi Martins has reacted to the signing of Hernan Crespo by asking for a transfer.
The Nigeria international already faced competition from Adriano, Julio Cruz and Alvaro Recoba for a place in Inter's starting line-up and fears the return of Crespo from Chelsea will ensure he spends most of the new season on the bench.
Inter are yet to respond to the transfer request, but the 21-year-old's agent, Patrick Bastianelli, claims that there is already plenty of interest.
"Oba has requests from Tottenham, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Valencia," said Bastianelli.
"There are offers on the table, but the player has yet to be placed on the transfer list. We are in continual contact with the club."
Martins, who is contracted to Inter until 2010, has scored 48 times in 134 appearances since breaking in to the first team in 2002.
