Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone has agreed a new long-term deal which will seem him remain at White Hart Lane until summer 2011.
The England Under-21 star has earned rave reviews for his performances this season, where he has started 14 of Spurs' last 19 games.
The 19-year-old, who arrived at White Hart Lane for £2.5million in 2005 from Derby County, has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal.
"I am thoroughly enjoying my football at Spurs and the way things are going," said Huddlestone.
"I am delighted with my new contract and I'm really looking forward to playing a part in the team doing well."
Manager Martin Jol told the club's official website: "Tom is one of the biggest talents in the English game and this is great news.
"For the club - that such a quality player has signed a long-term contract - and for Tom who, as a young player, can play alongside experienced internationals who will help him continue to fulfil his potential."
