Lyon have denied reports suggesting Tottenham Hotspur have made an approach for their goalkeeper Gregory Coupet.
Coupet, 35, has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane to replace unsettled England keeper Paul Robinson.
But the French champions have denied reports which claim Spurs have made an official bid for the experienced keeper.
The France international helped Lyon secure a seventh straight league title in the season just ended.
Vice-captain Coupet will start for Les Gones in Saturday's French Cup final against Paris St Germain at the Stade de France.
"Lyon categorically deny having received any offer from the English club Tottenham about the transfer of Gregory Coupet," read a club statement.
"Moreover, the club would like to remind everyone of the general fact that no discussions relating to possible transfers will take place before the Coupe de France final at the Stade de France on Saturday in which the club as a whole have all their focus."
