Lennon set to make Tottenham bench

Aaron Lennon could be on Tottenham's bench for the first time in almost four months when they travel to face Manchester United (12.45pm). The Spurs winger will not start Saturday's early Premier League kick-off at Old Trafford but is expected to be on the bench and manager Harry Redknapp says he "could get 20 minutes". Nico Kranjcar and Vedran Corluka (both ankle) are both still out but Ledley King has a chance of returning, while midfielder Jermaine Jenas has recovered from a virus. Spurs (from): Gomes, Alnwick, Kaboul, Walker, Assou-Ekotto, Bale, Dawson, Bassong, King, Dervite, Livermore, Huddlestone, Modric, Bentley, Rose, Pavlyuchenko, Palacios, Jenas, Lennon, Defoe, Gudjohnsen, Crouch.
