Lennon latest to pull out

Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon has been forced to withdraw from the England squad for Wednesday's international friendly against Holland with a knee injury.

The 19-year-old is the eighth player to pull out of Steve McClaren's squad following the withdrawals of Jermaine Jenas, Gary Neville (both calf injuries), Ledley King (knee), Darren Bent (hamstring), Stewart Downing and Scott Parker (both groin).

Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Chris Kirkland misses the game because his wife is due to give birth this week.

Manchester United midfielder Kieran Richardson has been drafted into the squad to replace Jenas.
