King hails Spurs strikers

Tottenham Hotspur captain Ledley King believes his side have the best strikeforce on show in the Premier League this season.

Spurs have Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and big-money summer signing, Darren Bent, challenging for two places in the starting eleven and King is excited by the quartet alongside him.

He told The Daily Mirror: "When I look around the Premier League, I don't think any team has got a collection of four strikers as good as we have now.

"To have four strikers of that quality and ability is a huge boost for us. Not many clubs in the world would be able to say they have that quality in their team.

"They are all internationals and can be top internationals. We know from what they've done that all of them can score goals in the Premier League and that's a great thing for any side going into the season.

"It's very exciting to have them, all four in the same squad is fantastic. If you look at us in that department, we're very lucky.

"I've heard a few people trying to say it won't work, because they're all similar. But we know the truth is that they are all different, apart from the similarity that they will all score goals."
