Skipper Ledley King wants Tottenham Hotspur to record their tenth home clean sheet of the season in Sunday's Premier League meeting with Newcastle United.
Ninth-placed Spurs are in the running for a place in Europe next season and following last weekend's 1-0 home success over West Ham, King has hailed the defence stability of the north London club.
"As a defender you want to keep clean sheets and we've done well this season," he told the club's official website.
"We've not conceded many goals at home and we know if we keep a clean sheet we'll have a great chance of winning.
"With the players we have, we're always going to create chances and that was the case against West Ham.
"In the first half it was a little too open, they looked dangerous on the counter and that was their best chance of scoring, so we had to tighten up in the second half.
"We did that and we've top quality forwards who we know can always score goals.
"Roman (Pavlyuchenko) came off the bench to score the winner and that shows the depth of strength in the squad.
"Jermain (Defoe) is close to coming back as well, so it's looking good."
