Keane set for Celtic loan deal

Tottenham Hotspur have given Robbie Keane permission to join Celtic on loan until the end of the season.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed that the Republic of Ireland striker has been given the go-ahead to hold talks with the Glasgow club in a bid to reach a loan agreement before the transfer window in Scotland closes at midnight on Monday.
Keane has seen starting opportunities dry up in recent months and is believed to have slipped even further down the pecking order at White Hart Lane following the arrival of Eidur Gudjohnsen.
"He is a Celtic man and it looks like it probably will happen," revealed Redknapp.
"It's a good move. Robbie needs to play. He's too good a player not to be starting here regularly. He wants to play all the time.
"To go to Celtic is a dream come true for him anyway. I think it's a move that appeals to him."
The former Wolves, Coventry City, Internazionale and Leeds United striker returned to Spurs 12 months ago following an ill-fated spell at Liverpool.
