    Jol looks to the positives

    11 Sep 2007 - 09:27:17

Beleaguered Tottenham head coach Martin Jol has been handed some good news as he prepares for this weekend's north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Darren Bent, Anthony Gardner and Benoit Assou-Ekotto have all returned to training following injuries while Aaron Lennon is also on the comeback trail.

Bent has recovered from a thigh injury while Gardner has been struggling with a groin problem and Benoit a knee injury.

Lennon is close to a return to action is after undergoing minor knee surgery in May.

"It's very positive news for us," Jol told Spurs' official website.

"Darren Bent is back and looked in good form. He did everything in training with us.

"We've got Aaron Lennon back as well and don't forget him! He trained last week and is looking good, although he lacks a bit of match-fitness so that's a decision we have to make.

"Benoit Ekotto and Anthony Gardner are also back and that gives us more options. I feel it's an exciting time for us."
