Huntelaar still on Harry's radar

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp insists he is still keen to bring Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to White Hart Lane even if he also manages to land Portsmouth's Peter Crouch.

Redknapp already has the likes of Darren Bent, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko at his disposal but that has not stopped him looking to bolster his attacking options.

Bent and Pavlyuchenko have been linked with moves away from north London as Redknapp attempts to strengthen a squad that endured a wretched first half to last season.

He was quoted in the Daily Mail as saying: "My interest in Huntelaar is serious.

"We've spoken to Real Madrid and the fee is somewhere between £15million-£17million."

The Netherlands international only moved to Madrid in January but, after making just 13 starts for the club, has been linked with a transfer following Real's summer signings of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
