Huddlestone hints at switch

Tom Huddlestone has threatened to leave Tottenham in the summer in a bid to find regular first-team football.

The 22-year-old former Derby County midfielder made his first Premier League start for Harry Redknapp's side since Boxing Day in Saturday's 1-0 win against West Ham United.

However, he is unhappy with his current role at White Hart Lane, telling The Times: "I'm not young any more. I need to be playing week-in and week-out.

"I just want to be playing, hopefully at Tottenham but, if not, then I'll have to have a think.

"If the club decided that they want to get rid of me, then so be it, but it's out of my hands.

"It's been very frustrating as every player wants to play in every game. I'm no different.

"If I'm sat on the bench week-in, week-out, I'm not going to be able to play for my country."
