Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists he is not interested in bringing the former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse to White Hart Lane.
The 27-year-old Frenchman is currently on a season-long loan switch at Sunderland from Marseille but it is not thought that the Black Cats are keen to make the arrangement permanent.
Recent reports have suggested Cisse could be on his way to Spurs, but Redknapp said: "No we haven't made any enquiries for anybody at the moment.
"The squad has done very well, but I still feel we need to strengthen in one or two areas as a group if we're to look to push on and try to make sure we're a top-six team.
"If we can't get the players we want then it's not a desperate situation because we have lots of good players at the club.
"I think Champions League football is a draw, but I'd be lying if I said being in the UEFA Cup would make a difference.
"I think if people want to come to your club and play they'll come. I think Tottenham is always going to be a draw for any player."
