Harry rejects Cisse talk
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has played down talk linking Djibril Cisse with a move to White Hart Lane. Recent reports have suggested Cisse could be on his way to Tottenham this summer once his loan deal at Sunderland expires. The 27-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at the Stadium of Light from Marseille, but it seems unlikely the move will be made permanent. Spurs are thought to be in the market for striking reinforcements, but Redknapp insists he has made no moves for anyone as yet. "No we haven't made any enquiries for anybody at the moment," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "The squad has done very well, but I still feel we need to strengthen in one or two areas as a group if we are to look to push on and try to make sure we are a top six team. "If we can't get the players we want then it's not a desperate situation because we have lots of good players at the club." Redknapp also believes Spurs will have no problems luring players to the club once the transfer window reopens, even if they miss out on qualifying for Europe. "I think Champions League football is a draw, but I would be lying if I said being in the Uefa Cup would make a difference," added Redknapp. "I think if people want to come to your club and play they will come. I think Tottenham is always going to be a draw for any player."
