Harry Redknapp says 'unlucky' Robbie Keane can leave Tottenham

Robbie Keane wants a permanent move in January and Tottenham will not stand in his way. The striker, 30, is ninth on the club's all-time scoring list with 92 goals in 236 appearances but has started just two games since returning from a loan spell at Celtic this summer. Great pro: Robbie Keane Spurs boss Harry Redknapp said: 'I think he'd like to move. He's not used to not playing. He could sit here and take his wages, but that's not him. 'Probably the hardest decision I had to make was last week when I couldn't get him on the bench against Liverpool. It wasn't easy when you respect somebody and what a good player he is or has been. 'He would do a great job for anybody. It wouldn't be a loan, it would be a permanent move. He still scores, he is still a great pro and is a top player - he is just unlucky.' Redknapp also revealed Ledley King will undergo two weeks of intensive training in a bid to cure the hernia injury that has kept him out since October 16. But if the defender, 30, breaks down, he will have to have an operation before Christmas in Germany that would prevent him from playing for a further four to five weeks.  Come on, it's not THAT cold!
