Harry Redknapp backs Aaron Lennon to fulfil Tottenham Champions League dream

Lennon was impressive again as Tottenham beat West Ham to return to the top four and Redknapp believes the player is improving with each game. 'He's hard to mark when he's in that type of form,' said Redknapp. 'You've got to give him the ball and with his pace and ability he can cause anybody problems.  Related ArticlesTottenham 2 West Ham 0James eyes Tottenham moveFulham 0 Tottenham Hotspur 0Redknapp tips Dawson for EnglandSpurs lay claim for 2018 stadium bidTottenham to offer Bellamy way out'I think he has gone up a level. And I think he believes. We keep telling him what he can do and how good he is and I think he's playing with confidence. 'We talk about getting the ball to him, we work in training hard on giving him the ball, and I think he's responded to that - feeling very important and how important he is to the team. 'We're an open team, we go for it. We're always going to create plenty of chances but last few weeks, luckily enough, we've been able to keep clean sheets as well. We've got a strong squad, with good players.' Another star of the show on Monday was Tom Huddlestone, who celebrated his 23rd birthday and the man of the match award. 'We came in half-time and knew we'd dominated the first half but 1-0 is never comfortable,' said Huddlestone. 'The pressure is on in a local derby and anything can happen but once Jermain got the second we were home and dry really. 'Some of the lads who played on Boxing Day said they felt a bit stiff and fatigued so for me and Jermain to be rested or dropped, or however you like to say, we were fresh against West Ham. 'I've enjoyed myself, playing regularly, and obviously you get to know the ins and outs of every other player and it does give you confidence, to maybe try something you wouldn't normally try.'
