Harry puts faith in Campbell
27 Nov 2008 - 09:57:34
Harry Redknapp will put his faith in Fraizer Campbell when Tottenham Hotspur take on NEC Nijmegen in the UEFA Cup on Thursday evening.
The on-loan Manchester United youngster has been given the nod with Roman Pavlyuchenko cup-tied and Luka Modric injured.
Redknapp is also without defensive trio Vedran Corluka, Ledley King and Alan Hutton for the group stage meeting with the Dutch side.
"Fraizer's a terrific young talent, he's bright and full of energy," said the Spurs boss.
"He's scored goals for us and whenever he's come off the bench he's played well.
"So he will start on Thursday night and I'm looking forward to watching him play."
Meanwhile, Redknapp has laughed off claims from Nijmegen coach Mario Been that his team plays a long-ball style of football.
"I wouldn't know what a long-ball team is," he replied.
