Aaron Lennon should be a regular in Fabio Capello's England starting line-up, according to Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.
The 21-year-old winger scored twice in Spurs' 4-0 victory against Middlesbrough on Wednesday, a result that lifted Redknapp's side four points clear of the relegation zone.
It was a display that delighted the former Portsmouth boss, who said: "Aaron must have a good chance of getting in the next squad if he plays like he is at the moment. The little fella is flying at the moment.
"Aaron's in fantastic form and you felt something would happen every time he got the ball.
"He's learning the game, he's only a kid. He's got all the equipment. I can see him taking things in, he needs people to work with him and work on his game - and he's responding.
"His final ball is still the thing he needs to improve on but it's certainly getting better. He was tired on Sunday but his little legs were still going."
