Harry hails assured Gomes

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp praised beleaguered Brazilian goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes who kept his second successive clean sheet in Thursday's UEFA Cup victory over NEC Nijmegen.
Gomes had been criticised for making several high-profile blunders in the opening weeks of the campaign but, after producing a solid display in the weekend victory against Blackburn Rovers, was again not beaten in the 1-0 win against the Dutch Eredivisie side.
Jamie O'Hara scored the only goal of the game as Spurs moved a step nearer to qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.
Redknapp said after the success: "I thought once we got in front we were comfortable.
"We were nice and solid at the back. It was another clean sheet and, with what he had to do, Gomes looked very assured. A couple of clean sheets won't have hurt him and I think his confidence is coming back.
"It was great to see Jamie (O'Hara) score the goal and he worked hard. (Didier) Zokora was excellent as well. He covered the ground and he's a great professional.
"We also managed to get a couple of the kids (Jon Obika, Ryan Mason) on for their Tottenham debuts, so that was good as well.
"Winning is a good habit and I think six points should be plenty to qualify."
