Harry fumes at appeal system

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has slammed the system which means he will be without Wilson Palacios for this weekend's game against West Ham United.

The former Wigan Athletic star is suspended for the game after being sent off for collecting two yellow cards in the 2-1 defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

Redknapp is furious that he cannot appeal against the second booking after replays showed Palacios made no contact with Rovers midfielder David Dunn.

He fumed: "It's a flawed system that you can't appeal against a yellow card and get it rescinded if it was blatantly wrong.

"The same thing happened last weekend to Glen Johnson at Portsmouth.

"It's crazy really. They surely could look at that and say it was a wrong decision. He hasn't made contact with the player so it shouldn't count."
