Harry: Sevilla want 'crazy money'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp says that Sevilla are asking for 'crazy money' for Brazil international striker.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at the Spanish club at the end of the current campaign, but Sevilla remain hopeful that Fabiano will pen an extension, ensuring that they are asking for a major transfer fee.

Redknapp told reporters: "I think the chairman's enquired.

"He's a player that I like, but I think they're talking crazy money for him, for a player that age.

"One year left on his contract, I think he's got. In excess of £24million or £25million, the figures don't stack up.

"That wouldn't be a goer, not for that sort of money."

The talented South American, who scored three goals for his country at the World Cup finals earlier this summer, has also been heavily linked with AC Milan.
