Ajax full-back Zdenek Grygera has insisted that a move to Tottenham Hotspur before the summer transfer window closes is unlikely.
The Czech Republic international was linked with Spurs after refusing to sign an extension to his Ajax contract, which is scheduled to expire at the end of the season.
However, Grygera said: "I know nothing specific. Tottenham are a high-quality team but England would not be my first choice, although I am not saying no.
"If you are choosing a club, you always consider if you know someone already there.
"Tottenham have a Dutch coach and also Edgar Davids - they would be able to understand me.
"If there is an interesting and specific offer from a club that has a good reputation in Europe, I would not be against it.
"I have one year left on my contract and I am not willing to extend it so my future will be resolved next summer at the latest."
