Gareth Bale out injured, is this the end of Tottenham Hotspur's season?

Gareth Bale was injured in last night’s game against FC Basel and according to Tony Gale of Sky Sports, Spurs will not finish in the Champions League spots.

I don’t know about you, but as a supporter I am desperately tired of hearing that Spurs are a one man team. There are 24 other players in the squad and I am sure that they are still capable of qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Europa League. I never understand the people who are quick to criticize Spurs as a team and say that we are a one man team, well I’m sorry, without the rest of the team would Bale be able to get the ball or have the space to move into? I don’t think so.

I know this may seem like I am ranting a little bit, but to be honest Spurs are a team who on their day - as with any team in the league - are capable of beating anyone, but for Tony Gale to sit there with 7 games to go and say Spurs are out because of injuries to Bale and Lennon is a bit premature and totally unjust really, and to me shows complete disrespect to the rest of the Spurs team.  If I was the players I would go out there and show how wrong one man’s opinion could be.

I am hoping that they do and go prove many people wrong and show there is more to the team than Bale. With players like Gylfi, Dembele, and Dawson I am sure without a shadow of a doubt that Spurs can go on and qualify for the Champions League and win the Europa.

So as a supporter I say COME ON YOU SPURS and prove these critics wrong.
