Published: 10 Mar 2010 - 08:39:47

Former Tottenham midfielder and Egypt international Hossam Ghaly is facing a possible one year ban after testing positive for a banned substance playing for Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr in last month's cup tie with Al Hilal. Ghaly, 28, played against England last week as Fabio Capello's side cantered to a 3-1 victory at Wembley Stadium. Banned: Ghaly failed a drugs test playing for Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr His agent Nader Shwaki said: 'Another sample of Ghaly's blood will be examined this week. 'There must be something wrong because Hossam is a professional who is fully aware of the gravity of using banned substances.'  Martin Atkinson poised to officiate this season's FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium Red-hot Roman Pavlyuchenko keen to come home, claim Lokomotiv Moscow Ledley King still two weeks away from Spurs comeback as defender battles thigh injuryTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
