Crystal Palace star Edgar Davids set to be quizzed by police over claims he slapped a woman

Crystal Palace midfielder Edgar Davids is facing a police investigation after allegedly slapping a woman in an Amsterdam cinema. Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claims that a row broke out when Davids, who was with his fashion designer fianc?Olcay Gulsen, took offence to two women who were sitting in his pre-booked seats at the Tuschinski theatre in the Dutch capital. Former Tottenham and Juventus star Davids, 37, is accused to have had an altercation with the women, leaving one with a black eye.
