Cissokho claims Spurs link

FC Porto left-back Aly Cissokho claims that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing him to England in the summer.

The 21-year-old French-born player has caught the eye in the Champions League with the Portuguese club and is rumoured to be on Spurs boss Harry Redknapp's wish-list.

Cissokho told Sky Sports: "I have a contract until 2012 and the club officials want me to add another year to that.

"That shows they have trust in me and I am proud of that.

"I also know there are big clubs looking at me, Tottenham is one of them and that is fine. I will talk with my club and we will see what happens from there.

"We will just wait until the end of the season and then see."

Cissokho only joined Porto in the January transfer window, having previously played for Vitoria Setubal and Gueugnon.
