Chimbonda's spot of woe

Tottenham Hotspur defender Pascal Chimbonda was left with a bitter taste in his mouth after the 3-0 derby defeat at Arsenal.

Right-back Chimbonda was adjudged to have fouled Tomas Rosicky as the Gunners won a penalty and went 2-0 in front.

Referee Graham Poll then awarded the home side another spot-kick, despite Robin van Persie handling before going down under the challenge of Jermaine Jenas.

Chimbonda admitted: "The decisions were very hard to take for the team.

"The first penalty I won the ball. Everyone saw on the TV afterwards that I got the ball first and then Rosicky fell. It wasn't a penalty.

"The lead up to the second penalty, van Persie controlled the ball with his hand.

"I don't think the referee had a good game which was very disappointing for the team."
