Cameroon omit Bassong from squad

Cameroon's French coach Paul Le Guen has named a strong squad for January's Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.However there is no place in the squad for Tottenham Hotspur defender Sebastien Bassong. The tournament's record goal scorer Samuel Eto'o from Italy's Inter Milan will be looking to add to his 16 strikes at his sixth Nations Cup.
