Blades wrap up double deal

Glen Little and Kyle Walker have signed on with Championship outfit Sheffield United. Experienced winger Little has penned a one-year deal after impressing during a recent trial spell. He was released by Reading at the end of last season and has spent his entire pre-season with the Blades. Walker, meanwhile, has completed a quick-fire return to Bramall Lane on a season-long loan deal. The 19-year-old recently agreed a move to Tottenham Hotspur, alongside fellow Blades star Kyle Naughton, but will be allowed to spend the 2009/10 campaign away from White Hart Lane. He has spent the summer with the England U19 side on European Championship duty and helped the Young Lions finish as runners-up in Ukraine. Both Little and Walker are now expected to go straight into Kevin Blackwell's squad for United's season opener at Middlesbrough on Friday.
