Barcelona agree deal with Spurs for Bale

Tottenham have agreed to sell Gareth Bale to Barcelona for around 40million, according to reports in Spain.

The Welshman has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Nou Camp in recent times and according to Spanish newspaper Marca, he will move to Barca on a five-year-deal.

Bale is reportedly desperate to join the Spanish club and may even be willing to take a pay-cut to join them.

New Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova wants Bale to increase his attacking options and has been desperate to seal the deal as quickly as possible.
