Atletico are now back in the frame, which would give Bentley regular games to try to win a World Cup place under Fabio Capello. Tottenham would use the money to help finance a summer spending spree, with Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones and Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing on their radar.
