Irate Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has slammed Tottenham for unsettling his Trinidad & Tobago international striker Kenwyne Jones.
After Spurs' FA Cup fourth round defeat at Manchester United on Saturday, Harry Redknapp confirmed he was keen to bring Jones to White Hart Lane, but Sbragia is unhappy with the way the Spurs boss does his transfer business.
He told the Black Cats' official website: "Tottenham have enquired about Jones but it's the methods they use that are disappointing.
"A lot has appeared in the papers but the main concern is that it doesn't get into the player's head and that his performances for us don't dip."
Spurs are also reportedly close to agreeing a deal to bring Pascal Chimbonda back to White Hart Lane.
