Zokora set for unveiling

14 July 2009 14:28
Didier Zokora will officially be unveiled as a Sevilla player on Wednesday after finalising his move from Tottenham. The midfielder completed his medical on Tuesday and will join the Spanish side for a fee thought to be in the region of £8.5million. Sevilla made the 28-year-old their number one priority this summer and after weeks of wrangling over the fee they have finally got their man. The Ivory Coast international arrived at White Hart Lane in summer 2006 and made 133 appearances in his three years at the club but failed to find the net. The former St Etienne ace has signed a four-year deal with Sevilla, who finished third last season in the Primera Division, and has a minimum fee release clause of £30million. Zokora joins compatriots Arouna Kone and Ndri Romaric at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and will be presented at 12pm on Wednesday.
