Zokora seeking Harry talks

Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora is seeking showdown talks with manager Harry Redknapp after being linked with a move to Spain. The Ivory Coast international is being tipped to join Ivorian compatriot Romaric at Sevilla after slipping down the pecking order at White Hart Lane. Zokora did make 28 Premier League appearances for the North Londoners last season, but fears a lack of first-team football in the 2009/10 campaign could hinder his international prospects. The 28-year-old has revealed his family are settled in the English capital and that should he be forced to move on he would prefer to remain in the Premier League over relocating to Spain. "I'm aware of interest from clubs, however to be honest I like Tottenham and want to play in the Premier League. Also my family is settled in London," he told skysports.com. "I have so many friends here, however I need to be playing week in, week out in order to keep my place in the Ivorian national team. There are many good players contesting my position. "Harry's never told me he does not like me. I will have a chat with him and see."
