Tottenham duo Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone have been axed from the England World Cup squad as boss Fabio Capello named his final 23.[LNB] They had been named in the initial 30-man training squad for the friendlies against Mexico and Japan but have failed to make the plane for South Africa.[LNB]Dawson is still waiting for his first cap after not playing a single minute of the warm-up games while Huddlestone came on as a 61st-minute substitute against Mexico before a 45-minute outing against Japan to take his appearances to three for his country.[LNB]Spurs team-mates Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon are included in the squad, along with Ledley King.
