Woodgate hands Harry welcome Spurs boost in behind closed doors return

Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate has delivered a massive boost to manager Harry Redknapp after emerging unscathed from an in-house practice match on Tuesday.
Woodgate has not played all season after undergoing surgery on a groin injury in the summer. But the 29-year-old centre-back is confident he has finally put the problem behind him and is itching for a return to first-team action.
Redknapp is likely to tread carefully, however, and Saturday's trip to Portsmouth has probably come too soon for Woodgate.
