White Hart Lane legend Roberts reckons Harry can land Beckham at Spurs

Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has backed Harry Redknapp to bring David Beckham to White Hart Lane.   [LNB]Spurs boss Redknapp admitted he is interested in Beckham, currently with AC Milan before returning to the Los Angeles Galaxy in July for four months.   [LNB]The possibility of seeing Beckham in a Tottenham shirt excites Roberts who said: 'It fits perfectly. Harry has taken older players like Sol Campbell and Kanu at Portsmouth and got best out of them.   [LNB][LNB][LNB] Good move: Roberts would like to see Beckham at White Hart Lane but admits Lennon (below) deserves to keep his place on the right hand side[LNB]'I would not put it past Harry as he is a great wheeler and dealer. It would be a fantastic move for the club and give them a real lift.  [LNB]'I think Harry will seriously look at it. Financially it would be viable and make lot of money for Spurs.   [LNB]'There is no better crosser of the ball in the world. David knows the pace of the Premier League and he still has two or three years left at the highest level.'   [LNB]Roberts' main concern is where Beckham would play because Aaron Lennon has established himself on the right wing. [LNB]'Lennon has played the best I have seen for three or four years,' said Roberts. 'Harry put him on right and said "I'll back you all the way."   [LNB]'I hope he stays there as he's probably been Tottenham's best player this year. Harry will look for a left-sided player but Beckham can play anywhere in midfield. He could play alongside Wilson Palacios and give Luka Modric a free role. There are a lot of options.'  [LNB] I'll have a Becks, please!
