Harry Redknapp admitted that Wigan had fully deserved their 1-0 win at White Hart Lane. Spurs had the lions share of possession against Roberto Martinez's side but they failed to find the net and were eventually undone when Hugo Rodallega scored for The Latics with just ten minutes of the game remaining. "They played the extra man in midfield, closed us down, pressed us and made us go back to our centre-halves more than we would have liked," Redknapp told Sky Sports. "Really we ran out of ideas how to break them down and it got more and more difficult. "Credit to them they played well and we had a bad day."
