Walker's best form can be an asset for Pochettino

It's going to be Full-Back Kyle Walkers Fourth season as Tottenham 's undisputed left back. After recovering from a reasonably long-term injury suffered during last season, he returned to fitness and played some part in Spurs USA tour. There will now be a determination from the Englishman to put his injury woe behind him and return to form.

To be blunt, Walkers form pre-injury was not near his best. He did still have some good games, but they were often met with a bad one after. Indeed Walker hasn't really matched his form from back in 2011-12, when his energy and drive was a great asset. In his First full campaign as First Choice at Spurs, he was crowned the Premier League's Young Player of the Year. A great achievement. That was going back a few years ago now, and since then Walker has - for varying reasons - not quite found his form.

Shieffield Born Walker's drive and link up play down the right can be valuable to Mauricio Pochettino. Missing the World Cup is bound to have affected him, but a return to form and he is sure to be in contention for more International recognition. When the season starts in a couple of weeks, Tottenham supporters will be eager for a Walker with no Fitness problems and getting back to marauding and being a real force - Without any basic errors and inconsistencies which. With the Captaincy possibly up for grabs, who knows he could one day lead the North Londoners?
