Mirko Vucinic has confirmed he intends to remain at Roma despite reports linking him with a move elsewhere. Manchester United and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in the forward, while a number of other European sides are also rumoured to be admirers. The Montenegro international's agent, Alessandro Lucci, stated at the end of last month that Vucinic would stay at Stadio Olimpico. Vucinic has now echoed his representative's comments by confirming his commitment to the Serie A club. "I will remain at Roma despite all the transfer reports that no doubt give me pleasure," said Vucinic to AS Roma Channel. "The fact that there has been interest makes me happy because it means that I have grown and become a player of international level." The 25-year-old last month extended his contract with the Eternal City outfit until June 2013. He added: "The last contract I signed means that I have made my choice. Roma represents my future. "I owe a lot to this club because had it been for my performances in the first year, I would have been the first to admit that I deserved to be dropped. "But instead, it's thanks to this club that I have the possibility to grow as a player."
