Van der Vaart compares Redknapp to Mourinho
Rafael van der Vaart believes Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has a "similar technique" to Real Madrid counterpart Jose Mourinho.
Van der Vaart did not spend long working with Mourinho before his move to London in August last year, but has favourably compared the Portuguese coach and Redknapp, who will clash in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.
"I love how Madrid play," Van der Vaart. "They are having a very good season. Mourinho is a coach who the players want to play for.
"Redknapp has a similar technique. They are very good, they know how to engage a group. Players want to win for them."
