United won't slip up now - Redknapp

Harry Redknapp expects Manchester United to wrap up the Premier League title - regardless of whether Tottenham win at Old Trafford on Saturday.Redknapp is proud of leading Spurs to the top of the current form table and is looking to secure a European place, although he feels a victory against United will not change the destination of the championship.Sir Alex Ferguson's men are three points ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand and Redknapp cannot see them slipping up."United have it more or less sewn up now," said Redknapp. "I would be surprised if they lost the title from here."They are three points clear with a game in hand, so they are in a great position. Chelsea failing to beat Everton on Wednesday means Liverpool are now their only danger."You are asking United to lose two of their final six matches, which is a tall order."With the finishing line in sight, Redknapp expects to face a full-strength United side despite Ferguson also preparing his squad for the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal on Wednesday.Ferguson rested a number of players for the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Everton last weekend, but Redknapp said: "He probably wants to put the championship to bed and will pick as strong a side as possible."If they win they will be close to doing that."Spurs, however, have lost just once in nine league matches and, after being bottom when Redknapp arrived in October, could still seal a place in next season's Europa League."We're not here to do anyone any favours apart from ourselves," said midfielder Jermaine Jenas. "We want to focus and push for Europe, which is the most important thing for the club."Redknapp added: "If we could finish seventh it would be fantastic but the advantage lies with Fulham and West Ham as they have three home games each."In the last eight games we are top of the form table so we're in terrific form. We're on a great run and want to keep that going as long as we can."I want to get into it (Europe). It's a feather in the cap for everyone to qualify for Europe from where we were. It would be a terrific achievement so that is the ambition. We'll do our best."Redknapp's men have an unbeaten league record against the traditional top four this season and are not fearing any team at the moment."We've taken 42 points while I've been here," Redknapp said. "I don't care where they come from, against top or bottom teams."I feel we're in great form and playing great football, passing and moving, a joy to watch."You never go to Old Trafford expecting an easy game but it's a great game to look forward to in our position. We're out the relegation scrap and relaxed so we can go there and play in great form."We're not going to go there and sit back, we're going to have a real go and see what we can do."Redknapp will be reunited with United centre-back Rio Ferdinand, whom he nurtured at West Ham, while Dimitar Berbatov will face the club he left earlier in the season."We all know how some of the Spurs fans felt towards Berba when he left," Jenas added."For him it was what he felt he needed which was fair enough. We wished him all the best but on Saturday we won't want him to be scoring any goals."[LNB]
