Transfer News - Spurs, Fulham and Cardiff scrap for Craig Bellamy; Parker not for sale

Tottenham, Fulham and Cardiff are fighting it out for the signature of Craig Bellamy, after the striker was left out in the cold by Manchester City.

According to the Daily Mirror, Bellamy did favour a loan move away from Manchester City - in the hope that Roberto Mancini would be sacked and he could return under a new manager.

But the Welshman has kicked up such a fuss that City want him out, and have told the 31-year-old not to report for training.

Spurs could get Bellamy for around £2 million, providing they take over his £90,000/week contract. Bellamy's former Blackburn boss and good friend Mark Hughes wants him at Fulham, but that pricetag and the wage bill could put them off.

Meanwhile, Cardiff are still holding out for a possible loan move to take Bellamy back to his homeland.

The Argentine legend has let it be known he is keen on a role in England, and his European representative has hinted he would take the Villa job.

The Daily Mail reports that Harry Redknapp has been warned to stay away from West Ham midfielder Scott Parker.

Parker has been offered a new deal at Upton Park, and club owner David Sullivan said he would report Spurs if they attempt an approach.
